Tony Hawk x Colossal: An Epic Partnership to Benefit The Skatepark Project

Skateboarders worldwide now have an opportunity to roll with the Birdman himself in a new online competition. 

Colossal is STOKED to present Tony Hawk’s Skatepark Hero in a legendary partnership that will raise awareness and donations for Hawk’s own, The Skatepark Project. For over 20 years, this charitable organization has helped underserved communities create safe and inclusive public skateparks for youth.

At the conclusion of the competition, one winner, the People’s Choice, will capture the hearts of the public and be voted in as the inaugural Skatepark Hero and walk with $10,000 and a personal skate session with the legend himself. On top of that, one talented skater with the most creative boardslide and/or lipslide will go down in history as Tony’s Pick. 

The team at Colossal is beyond honored to work with such a legend as Tony Hawk. Not only is he the most accomplished professional skateboarder, but he is an innovator, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and all-around good guy. By 14, he’d turned pro, and by 16, he was widely considered the best skateboarder on earth. He was world champion 12 years in a row and is a 16-time X Games medalist.
