The Favorite Chef Competition is Bigger Than Ever
It’s been two years since the inaugural Favorite Chef Competition saw thousands of professional and home cooks come together to celebrate the culinary arts. Colossal is now at the helm of running the Competition, and we’ve made a few enhancements to elevate the experience for the competitors.
The 2023 Favorite Chef Competition supports the James Beard Foundation and their commitment to supporting a resilient and flourishing industry that honors its diverse communities.
A fan favorite on the Food Network, chef Carla Hall, has signed on as the Competition host. She will offer some insight to competitors along their Favorite Chef journey, including a fun and informative exclusive workshop on plating and presentation.
The People’s Choice winner will be heading to New York City to cook alongside the illustrious chef Carla Hall for a one-on-one cooking experience at Platform by James Beard Foundation and will be awarded $25,000.
We are proud to partner with Taste of Home Magazine to feature the People’s Choice winner in a two-page advertorial that will allow them to tell their unique story and show off their skills.
Favorite Chef competitors will also have a chance to be recognized by our world-renowned host as Carla’s Pick.
Competitors will also gain value from exclusive workshops hosted by some of the best in the biz.
