This Is Why We Do It: 2024 Colossal Impact Statement

At Colossal, we're all about making fundraising fun, impactful, and a little bit competitive! We’re excited to share how the millions raised in 2023/2024 have supercharged some amazing causes—from saving sea turtles to supporting kids battling cancer.

We’ve built a fundraising model that combines creativity with purpose, helping nonprofits crush their goals while rallying communities to get involved. The result? Major dollars going to missions that matter.

Just a few of the epic ways we’ve helped:

  • Fab Over 40: Raised a whopping $9.9 million for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, supporting life-saving breast cancer screenings and education.

  • Supreme Sneakerhead: Raised $729,116 to benefit Oceana to protect endangered marine life (yes, that includes adorable sea turtles).

  • Greatest Baker: Raised over $2.2 million to benefit The B+ Foundation, helping families of children fighting cancer.

  • Bar Boss: Raised $2.2 million for the Kind Campaign to combat girl-on-girl bullying (kindness really is cool).

  • America's Favorite Pet: Raised over $8.9 million to support PAWS in providing care for animals in need.

  • Super Mom: Raised $6.6 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to help kids get the care they need.

  • Favorite Chef: Raised over $4.7 million benefiting the James Beard Foundation to support chefs and promote sustainable practices.

These competitions have helped raise critical funds while bringing people together for fun and a lot of impact. In the words of our CEO, Mary Hagen, “At Colossal, we’re not just raising funds; we’re flipping the script on what philanthropy looks like—one competition at a time.”

Check out the full scoop in our press release, and stay tuned for more exciting competitions coming your way! We’ve got big plans for 2025, and we can’t wait to share the journey with you.
