Greatest Baker Raises over $1.5 Million to Help Kids Battle Cancer

Tens of thousands of professional and amateur bakers competed in the Greatest Baker Competition, but only one could take the cake! The results are in, and Ginger Gaddi, a self-taught cake master from Sacramento, CA, rose to the top. Ginger will be taking home $10,000 and will grace the pages of Bake from Scratch Magazine. This win affords Ginger the opportunity to open her own home-baking business to share her delectable creations on a larger scale.

The Greatest Baker Competition was operated by Colossal as part of a fundraising campaign on behalf of DTCare to benefit the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. The Competition raised over $1.5 million to help provide financial and emotional support to families of children with cancer nationwide and fund cutting-edge childhood cancer research.
